Warm welcome to WatchProSite!

I’m not an owner of the gen 2 Overseas, so other members will know better than me. That said, this example seems fine. But judging from photos is uncertain, all the more so when they are not high res. I wish you the best for your decision. Best, Emmanuel

49150 Overseas Chronograph condition check — case/bracelet polish?

I’m considering a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph ref. 49150 in white/silver dial and would appreciate opinions from people familiar with Gen 2 Overseas case/bracelet finishing. The seller describes it as a clean full-set example with no known po

Yeah! That "VC blue" has returned to my wrist.

I fell in love with that "VC blue" dial at first sight, so I acquired a 4500 in 2022. IMO, that "blue" is the most beautiful blue in horology. There is nothing quite like it. Maybe others agree. I had to sell that 4500 to catch a bigger fish, but I always

Hard to take off, isn't it.

Your watch certainly has the look of a Yamani-era VC. The examples of the 33090 that I see online were from Japanese sites so I wonder if it was intended for that market? Predates the Phidias but its fascinating to see the evolutionary process at work her

The 333 has a completely different design…

And a distinct caseback engraving. Also, the 333 might have only come in Automatic or Quartz. Your watch seems to be a somewhat dressier ultra thin integrated bracelet execution without a unique model name such as Phidias, 222, 333, etc.

This Overseas dual time is still glued to my wrist!

I was so excited by the quick strap change when I received it that this is actually the first time I wear it with the bracelet.
